I requisite a hotel room for about 10 days starting Sept. 8th or 9th. The only lthing I require is that the hotel is on the island of Manhattan, below 72nd st, reasonably cleanse and reasonable safe. Other than that, I'm looking for the lowest rates possible. Any suggestions anyone?
I stopover at Hotel Pennsylvania...it's only 139.00 per night during week days...on 34th & 8th across from Penn Stattion/MSG...it also provide a shapely landmark in case you get lost too !
book it thru Hotels.com (best price I have seen thus far)

I'm bearing in mind visit NY, but I don't want to stay in NJ, Brooklyn, Queens, etc..I would to stay in Manhattan but its very difficult to find any clean hotel and budget-priced at the same time..or relative cheap, I'm not looking for luxury but and don't want fleas and rats either.
You can try some of the hostels in Manhattan. They are thoroughly cheap and clean. Perfect to spend a night if you would be out for sight seeing most of the day.
