Most of the legendary footballers who have had successful club careers consider moving to MLS when they get past their prime. This has led to the rapid increase in the reputation of MLS as a whole. Tim Cahill is an Australian Legend who has scored the most number of goals for the Australian National Team. He came to England in 1997 and joined Millwall as a free agent. For the next 14 years, he plyed his trade in England with Millwall and Everton. He was one of the main players for Everton for more than 8 years. In the year 2012, New York Red Bulls came knocking the door, gave him an offer he cannot refuse. He had already gone out of favour with the arrival of Jelavic and Naismith from Rangers. Even now, he is plying his trade at New York finding the back of the net consistently. He scored one of the best goals of World Cup 2014.
