Beckham's career has had its fair share of ups and downs from being a public enemy when he got sent off in the 1998 World Cup match up against Argentina which saw the them going down to penalties to being a national hero when he scored a stoppage time goal to ensure that England qualified to the 2002 World Cup. He is a hugely gifted player and his free kick being one of his specialties,as it was as good or even better than any other Top notch player at that time.He most likely will be remembered for his time in Old Trafford where the winger proved to the whole world how good a player he truly is.
