Includes *free standard shipping. Total weight equals approximately 20 pounds.Our WaterBoy Windlass Head is designed to use with water well buckets. The Windlass Head is made with a 3/4″ x 20″ metal shaft and flange bearings with grease fittings for long product life and durability. The windlass will hold up to 600′ of 1/4″ rope. Drawing water with a 24″ wheel is much easier and safer than doing it by hand or with the old-style crank handle.
With the Windlass Hoist, no tripod is needed. Complimentary plans are provided to build your own windlass hoist. Or, the windlass can be mounted upon an A-frame, two fixed posts over a well, or two common sawhorses with a rope going up to a pulley and down to a well bucket over a well. (Well bucket and rope sold separately)
